F.A.T. presents a short documentary series called FATLESS, featuring artists, and professionals collaborating with F.A.T.

This time, the spotlight is on LUI ARAKI, the headliner of the 2024 Fall/Winter Collection. His unique, busy yet delicate street skating is highly creative and has gained popularity both in Japan and abroad. Some describe his style as “like dancing under the moonlight,” while others say, “It’s so technical, yet it’s like his feet and deck are glued together.” That’s the kind of skating that defines LUI ARAKI.

While excelling as a skater for many years, he is also a photographer—or perhaps more accurately, an artist of photography (what’s the difference? The nuance is quite distinct) dedicated to developing negatives in the darkroom. His unique colors and compositions continue to emerge from his work.
